The Government of the Republic of Ghana (GOG) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Tourism Development Project (TDP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT) includes implementing and operating a procurement management system for the Tourism Development Project Coordinating Unit (TDPCU) in order to achieve the key objective of the Terms Of Reference (TOR). The Procurement Consultant should have at least 8 years’ experience and should attach at least 2 testimonials from similar based subjects. And the availability of the individual.

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture now invites eligible individual consultants, to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: 1.The individuals experience in public procurement; 2. Experience in the sub-region. 3. Testimonials submitted.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 and revised November 2017 and August 2018, the “Procurement Regulations”, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Given the above policy, Key or lead consultant or any Firm already engage by the TDP during the period of this assignment will be considered as conflict of interest and therefore not qualified for this assignment.
Consultants may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications, but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Quality and Cost-based Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
