Miss Tourism Pageant, Sedinam Atsyor, and runners-up, together with the pageant leadership called on the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Andrew Egyapa Mercer at the Ministry on Monday 29th July 2024.
Miss Tourism Ghana is a pageant which promotes the rich cultural heritage and tourist destinations of Ghana and is solely dedicated to projecting Ghana’s tourism sector while the winner of the competition becomes a tourism ambassador for a period.
During their discussion, the crown shared with the Minister vital projects they were embarking on namely menstrual hygiene, discovery of new tourist sites and general environmental sanitation.
As this year’s World Tourism Day would be celebrated in Sekondi, he assured the delegation of his unflinching dedication to ensure, the chords of tourism in Ghana are strung effectively for the benefit of all, and future generations.
