The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie had the pleasure and honour of receiving H.E Mrs Imane Ouaadil, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ghana who paid a courtesy call on her at the Ministry on Tuesday 25th February 2025.
They held discussions on how to strengthen the Ghana and Morocco bilateral relations through a tourism collaboration aimed at promoting cultural exchange and economic cooperation.
The collaboration seeks to leverage the rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks of both countries to attract tourists and foster people-to-people ties.
Under this initiative, Ghana’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism, Handicraft, Air Transport and Social Economy will work together to develop joint tourism packages, exchange best practices in tourism management, and promote each other’s tourism attractions. This partnership is expected to enhance the competitiveness of both countries’ tourism industries, create jobs, and contribute to the growth of our respective economies.
