Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, M.P. and Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, on Tuesday, 15th April 2025, paid a working visit to the Accra Marine Drive Development Project Site. The visit was to inspect the extent of work done at the project site and interact with the Anchor Developer and Consultants.
The Minister and her team were met on arrival and briefed by Mr. Kwame Atta Acheampong, Managing Director of Attachy Construction Ltd, anchor developer for the project and Mr. J.B. Asafo Boakye, Engineering Consultant for the project.
The Marine Drive Project is a significant public-private partnership initiated to revitalise Accra’s beachfront. Spanning some 241 acres, it stretches from the Christiansborg Castle at Osu to the Arts Centre in the Ga Mashie enclave.
Hon. Gomashie commended the progress made and reiterated the Government’s commitment to ensuring the successful completion of the Marine Drive Project.
The Hon. Minister was accompanied by her Deputy, Hon. Yusif Jajah, the Ag. Chief Director, Mr. Vitus Otto Langmagne, the Director for Tourism at the Ministry, Mr. Geoffrey Tamakloe, Director for Culture and Creative Arts, Mr. Divine Owusu-Ansah, the Ag CEO of GTDC, Prof. Kobby Mensah and the Ag. CEO of GTA, Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto.
