As part of Ghana’s ongoing campaign in support of its candidature for the UN Tourism Secretary-General position for the 2026-2029 term, a team from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs joined a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, led by the Minister, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, to participate in the 2nd UN Tourism Africa-Americas Summit held in Livingstone, Zambia, from April 8 to 10, 2025.
En route to Livingstone, the team made a stop in South Africa to canvass support through engagements with the South African Foreign Ministry (DIRCO).
