The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) launched the 2023 Tourism Report on Monday, 29th April 2024 at the Accra Tourist Information Centre.
According to the Tourism Act 2011, Act 817. Section(3)(m), the Authority is mandated to collect, compile and publish information and statistics on activities regulated under this Act.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GTA, Mr Akwasi Agyeman, Deputy CEO/Operations, Mr Ekow Sampson, Deputy CEO/General Services, Mr Ben Anane Nsiah, President of the Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF), Mr Charles Adu-Gyamfi, President of the Tour Operators Union of Ghana (TOUGHA), Mrs Alisa Osei Asamoah, President of Ghana Hotels Association (GHA), Dr Edward Ackah Nyamike Jnr., Head of Tourism and Hospitality Management at UCC, Prof. Issahaku Adams, National Secretary, Ghana Progressive Hotels Association, Mr Evans Galley, Directors, Staff of GTA and other Stakeholders.
