On Tuesday 25th February, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon Abla Dzifa Gomashie launched the Ghana Heritage Month by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC)
In her keynote address, she emphasized the essence of The Heritage Month is to put Ghanaian culture and heritage on a higher pedestal through the promotion of locally made products and showcasing our rich cuisine, music, fashion, history, ethnic and traditional diversity.
The Hon Minister also commended the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) for providing reliable, credible and quality radio and television service to all of Ghana over the past 90 years of their operation.
She urged all Ghanaians to endeavour to preserve and pass on our rich cultural heritage to posterity because that is how to maintain our unique identity.
