The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, on Wednesday, 25th March 2025, was the special guest of honour at the grand opening of the “Le Pavillion”, one of the most authentic Lebanese restaurants in Labone, Accra.
The Hon. Minister in her remarks stated that “We are embarking on a culinary journey that brings together the rich flavours and traditions of Lebanon with the warm hospitality of Ghana”.
According to her, she had been reliably informed that the restaurant, is dedicated to serving the best of Lebanese cuisine, made with love and care, using only the freshest ingredients. Their services range from signature shawarma and falafel to mouth-watering kebabs and traditional Lebanese desserts. She was full of hope that the dishes on the menu will be a testament to the rich culinary heritage of Lebanon.
She challenged the owners of Le Pavillon to move beyond making it just a place of gathering for friends and family, but a hub for cultural exchange. This will help showcase rich cultural diversity which made the world a more interesting and exciting place.
She welcomed all present to experience the warm hospitality of Lebanon in the heart of Accra, which will take them on a journey of flavours and traditions that will leave them feeling like they are dining in Beirut.
She concluded by welcoming all present. The minister was excited and assured all and sundry that the owners of the restaurant look forward to serving the best of Lebanese cuisine to the Ghanaian populace for many years to come!
