The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts (MoTCCA), and Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, held her first meeting with the Ministry’s Directors and Management Staff on Monday, 27th January 2025, at the Ministry’s Conference room. The meeting examined ways through which the directorates could work in close collaboration to achieve the sector’s vision of helping to accelerate national development.
She made staff aware of her expectations and how she would ensure that necessary training and capacity building was given to staff to enable them to work better and achieve the sector’s goal and mandate. The meeting, therefore, sought to request the support and collaboration of all staff to enable the sector to achieve the needed progress and development.
In response, the Director in charge of Human Resource Management and Ag. Chief Director at the Ministry, Mr Vittus Otto Langmagne, on behalf of the staff, reaffirmed their dedication to working with her to achieve the desired goals of making Ghana a preferred tourism destination in the West African sub-region.
