A stakeholder consultative meeting for the Entertainment industry was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and attended by prominent personalities from Ghana’s Film sector to interact with representatives from the Cultural Department of the United States Embassy in Accra on Wednesday 10th May 2023.
One of the critical issues discussed during the meeting was finding potential collaboration between the United States Embassy and the Creative Arts fraternity in Ghana.
The meeting was a follow-up to the recent visit of the Vice President of the United States of America, Her Excellency Kamala Harris to Ghana from 26th to 29th March 2023.
Present at the meeting were Ginny Elliot, the Public Affairs Counselor, Laneice Brooker, Cultural Affairs Attaché and Michelle Burgesson-Dove, Assistant Officer in charge of Business Development and Marketing at the United States Embassy. Representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the American Bureau were Louis Dunu, Deputy Director, Favour Gakpetor, and Patricia Etevor. Also present were Kenneth Senyo Fiati, Executive Member of the Cultural Forum and Frank Owusu from the Creative Arts Agency.
