Mrs Obeng emphasized the need to arrange to have a meeting with the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama. She also mentioned that the occasion would be used to promote Ghana using the Black Star Experience, being championed by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts to promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.
She also mentioned other projects of the Foundation, such as the Heroes Museum and the partnership that has been entered into with the University of Ghana.
In her response, Hon. It also shows the importance and relevance of passing on tradition from one generation to another.
Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie expressed her appreciation for the recognition given to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and suggested that UNESCO could be brought on board to boost publicity of the programme.
