Hon. Egyapa Mercer has lauded the collaborative work between the private and public sectors in the organisation of the West Africa Music and Arts Festival. He made these remarks when he addressed the West Africa Music and Arts Festival on Thursday 20th June 2024.
The occasion, which was graced by the Second Lady of Ghana, Her Excellency Hajia Samira Bawumia, brought together seasoned persons in the creative arts industry to delve into thought-provoking conversations such as the legalities surrounding intellectual property in the creative arts space, and how Ghana can be
Fertile substrate to aid upcoming talents.

The Minister also shared how particularly happy he was, that the event was a
Private sector-led, but public sector-supported initiative.
The four-day event which started on Thursday, 20th June 2024 will proceed with guests from different creative spaces to all engage in discussions to better our sector.
